About the game
“Pressure Plates!!” is an activity involving planning, communication and teamwork at speed. It has a real physical element to it that teams enjoy, and has the added advantage of being able to run it indoors or out depending on your circumstances.
For teams of between 6-12 people.
How it works
The team is provided with a series of numbered “plates” and given 5 timed attempts at a specific task. The activity has to be completed faster on each attempt. All team members are engaged in planning the task, but not all take part. This raises questions of selecting the right people for the task, being clear on what is to be achieved, and trusting that they will deliver. Most teams make a radical transformation in their performance during the activity. In this activity, more than one team can take part, and when you have a number of teams competing against each other and the clock, it’s a real fun challenge!

“Pressure Plates!” is delivered in a silver attaché case with all of the equipment you need to run the activity for up to 3 teams.
The facilitator guide, handouts, PowerPoint slides, Evaluation sheets and Action plans are provided on a CD and can be re-used and re-printed as often as you like. There are no restrictions on how often you use the materials provided, so it can be used over and over again!
