Overview:
This programme aims to give an understanding of what a project is and how to manage one successfully. We look at the cycle of a project and work on building a project brief, defining scope, goals and objectives.
We also focus on planning the full project cycle, identifying stakeholders and looking at how to formulate a project communication plan.
Once we have established our project plan we move on to identifying risks and issues and we consider how to manage these during the project.
We also spend some time looking at how to manage and monitor the project as it progresses and then finally, how to evaluate its success.
Throughout the programme, we use a set of template documents that can be adapted and used in any organisation to give projects some structure and define their process. These templates will act as ongoing tools the delegates can take back and use again and again
