About the game
Wide Angle! is a challenge involving planning, strategy communication and teamwork. It requires a great deal of thought, a good memory, and fabulous communication skills. It’s great for teams that don’t always work together, or who need to work on their communication.
Suitable for 4-10 participants.
How it works
The team has to plan how they will retrieve information from a jumbled set of provided props placed indoors or outdoors. They must work collaboratively to understand the sequence of the information and put it in the right order. The sequence isn’t immediately obvious, but there is a right answer provided! The information is positioned away from the team, and the team must nominate “visitors” to examine the props and bring information back to the “control room”. Communication restrictions are put on the team when they are apart, and they can only communicate effectively when they are together, much like a “virtual team” in real life.

Each Wide Angle! challenge comes in a silver attaché case with all of the equipment you need to run the activity for up to 3 teams.
The facilitator guide, handouts, PowerPoint slides, Evaluation sheets and Action plans are provided on a CD and can be re-used and re-printed as often as you like. There are no copyright restrictions on how often you use the materials provided, so you can run this activity as often as you like!
